Rules

The rules of LOA are to be followed by everyone, they are in place to keep the server from crashing and for everyone to enjoy their time at LOA. Do not question a DM if they are telling you not to do something, it's probably for a reason. Failure to follow the rules will be taken personally by the admin of LOA and punishment will shortly follow and most of the time without warning, remember ignorance is not an excuse for stupidity.

Currently our rules are as follows:

The Golden Rules:

All spawns must be killed. If you exit an area sometimes they will despawn. This is not in place so you can run to a boss without killing a single monster on the way, it's to clean up 1 or 2 you might have missed along the way, however, when in an area very large (living mountains, etc.) by the time you get to the top, you have probably caused the server to crash! This is also a personal pet peeve which is why it is rule number 1, follow this rule and there will be no trouble.
ALL loot MUST be picked up. (If you don't want it either throw it away or sell it, but pick it up!)
You are able to herd mobs; however, be respectful of others. If people are complaining about lag, don't do it.

Harrassment:

There will be zero tolerance for harrassment in LOA.
Examples of Harrassment are:

Repeated Pickpocket attempts by a single person or entity that goes beyond normality.
Repeated Player killing of someone by a single person or entity that goes beyond normality.
Excessive PMs or Emails, or other forms of communication both in and out of game that are negative in nature and cause discomfort for the recieving party.

The Staff of LOA must be informed of harrassment with proof. Untampered screenshots, emails, PMs, etc. Staff will not act without it.
If someone is found to be harrassing a player, there will be an unhappy and unpleasent stay in LOA for them.
Do not do it.

Player vs. Player (PvP) Rules and Pick Pocket (PP) rules:

No character can PK (Player Kill) a character with a rank below moderate.
If you get killed by a player lower than you, don't complain - learn to make better builds.
You can Pick Pocket a player anywhere allowed by PVP settings, same as PVP, moderate rating or higher only. NO PPing IN ARENA. No complaining if you get stuff stolen, save good items and gold on a mule PC, or in the bank.

RP Rules:

Currently no RP rules are in effect. Role Playing is accepted on Legends of Arcadia, but it is not a requirement. Eventually, if the player base wishes, we may begin enforcing various RP rules.

General Good Behavior and knowledge list:

All major bosses will reset on module reload, splitting loot is purely party related, figure it out yourselves we give you dice bags.
Use our shout channel to ask basic questions. Where to hunt, shop, party, build or anything else you might have a question for.
Do not use the shout channel to bad mouth the Admin, sever, other players or to complain. Do not use vulgar words in shout at any time for any reason.
The shout channel is also not a place for private conversation, keep it in party or tells please.
Logging out and back in to avoid death penalties will not be tolerated, take your licks, respawn and try again.
